August 26, 2026

Bowling Green, OH – EnviroZyme®, a global leader in microbial technologies, has completed a major expansion of its production facilities, underscoring a significant investment in the company's long-term growth strategy. To better serve its customers, EnviroZyme expanded its fermentation, packaging, warehouse capacity, and technical expertise. Together, these investments increased overall production capacity by 3.5 times. The project also increased the company's footprint by 75%, adding 15,400 square feet (1,431 m²) to its existing facility.

"This milestone represents a pivotal moment for EnviroZyme," said Matt Luchansky, Vice President of Operations. "In less than eight years since opening our Bowling Green facility, we are significantly increasing our capacity and improving our operations. We're creating a stronger foundation to support our customers, reach new markets, and drive sustainable growth well into the future."

Next-Level Capabilities and Quality

The expansion brought advanced capabilities to EnviroZyme's operations. The company expanded its microbial production capacity, enabling the introduction of new strains and species while scaling output across its existing portfolio, including enhanced nitrifier production that strengthens its position as one of the world's leading providers of bioaugmentation solutions.

Advanced batching processes were implemented to deliver greater yield, higher productivity, and improved downstream efficiency, opening the door to new market opportunities. In addition, upgrades to quality have reinforced rigorous quality standards, helping ensure consistent performance across its expanded operations.

Delivering Breakthrough Scale and Speed

The project improved EnviroZyme’s ability to move efficiently from bench-top trials to full-scale productions. Fermentation tank capacity doubled as part of the investments contributing to the 3.5x increase in overall production capacity. These enhancements, combined with new scale-up capabilities, accelerated production timelines and helped meet growing global demand. Additionally, expanded warehouse space and increased on-hand inventory enabled faster order fulfillment and reduce bottlenecks, even during peak demand periods.

Future-Ready Integration

The expansion positioned EnviroZyme for future-ready integration. Greater downstream throughput included automated high-speed filling and a 33% increase in water-soluble pouch output. A new rotary drum system added advanced packaging flexibility, enabling the production of water-soluble pods in a variety of formats and at high volumes. Throughout this growth, EnviroZyme maintained and optimized its industry-leading vertical integration, ensuring seamless control from petri dish to finished product while meeting evolving market demands.

"This is more than an operational upgrade. It's a strategic leap forward," said Brad Betz, President and CEO. "We are investing in the infrastructure and expertise needed to meet our customers' evolving needs and shape the future of microbial technology. Our goal is to build lasting value for our partners while creating solutions that make a meaningful, sustainable impact worldwide."

These advancements underscore EnviroZyme's dedication to delivering greater value to its customers and partners. By expanding its capabilities and streamlining operations, the company is better positioned to provide faster, more reliable solutions that address today's most complex challenges.
